Вопрос по базе/Base creation question

Hello guys!
Have a problem with creation of the base. At first time it all was ok, i have full defend from external factors inside my base (toxic rain all time), but when i decide to expand it, my base become with no defend from it (only some places defend me). So i decide to make it on this planet, but in another place, but now i have totally no defend from external factors all over base. Toxic rain just drop down from my roof (wooden floor). Anybody have an issue of this problem guuuyss? Thanks.

If the base pieces don't lock together properly that will happen. You can solve that issue by making that large open space into smaller rooms connected with halls, doorways, or arches. That will also solve the weather issue that you are having in this photo.

Weather will get into your base if it is 3 or more tiles high. The solution is to make each of your floors one tile high. The problem with this is that some base objects are 2 tiles high and you only get a limited number of terrain edits. This is how I solve those problems:

After placing my base computer I put all of my storage vaults on the ground. I then build walls 2 tiles high around them and the roof of my vault area becomes the floor of the main level.

This does not create a problem because you can access your storage vaults through your suit inventory.

On the next floor I place all of the base objects that are 2 tiles high along the walls and I build entry rooms that are 1 tile high in front of them. I can stand in the one tile high areas out of the weather and access the 2 tile high equipment.

My hydroponics and bio domes go on the next level up except for the plants that grow in that biome. I use glass panels to create a greenhouse.

I then build an indoor garage for my exo craft.

This has solved all the weather inside the base problems for me including on the hazardous storm planet that I built a base on to find storm crystals.

This is my permanent death save. All my other bases are similar.

You're welcome. The base that I have in the screen shots I posted have all of the base pieces interlocked properly. I made sure that each piece went exactly where it was supposed to be and I have no weather in it even in places that are 4 tiles high. I have an earlier base that I built that I didn't get all the pieces to lock properly and have weather in places that are only 2 tiles high in that base. Its possible to get a gap that is the thickness of a floor tile and that lets the weather in all the time.
