Details has more options but it will cost you more fps than sharpening.
Gotta love Experience...
Which is why I made this thread. TAA +quality sharpening = best of both worlds.
Also tried some other filters myself like black and White, worked on desktop but not in headset.
TAA(low) looks flawless to me, but there's a catch. its glitchy when u first apply it so it requires a restart to get rid of most of the blur issue's
TAA (low) example with no other tweaks at 1080p showing no blur or jagged edges:

edit: as someone who uses reshade in all games for mainly lumasharpen HDR and ambientlight i gotto say i miss using it in this game still. if only i could find a fix for nvidia experience. recording with shadowplay also gave me the highest quality, lowest file size and least ammount of performance hit when recording back in the day
When I tested it I observed that nVidia's FreeStyle sharpening doesn't get applied to the image sent to the HMD, but, strangely, does get applied to the VR mirror (the window on your desktop that shows what each eye is seeing).
Also, a heads up, the very latest nVidia drivers (436.30) caused a lot of stuttering in NMS VR when I played with it today. Reverting back to 436.15 returned things back to what I've come to expect (less stuttering).
edit: ill include my ingame settings if that help anything, it could be higher graphic settings affect anti aliasing in some way? the nexus still looks the worst aliased no matter which setting i use and some planets with strong lights/fog tend to impact it negatively as well. additionally i suspect the ingame photo mode to take screenshots without anti aliasing but i cant confirm this, i tend to use my steam's own function while in photo mode.

(nvidia control pannel forced ON with tripple buffering, rest all default
my monitors refresh rate is 60hz so it will cap the game at that)

i use these settings so my fps remain 60 even while moving, not just standing still.
