Just activate the quest in your questlog. Open the galaxy map. Use the filter for activated quest, warp to the system with the corresponding quest icon, land at the space station, talk to the Gek with the icon above his head. Return to your base.
Advice: Build the construction station first. Otherwise you wouldn't get the quest for finding the Overseer.
I have never been prompted to go to the space station and see the overseer. This is why I am posting. The construction terminal was created last week. I have purchased most of the items you can from it. There is no quest for him. I have followed the game down to the letter when I first started it up. Before buildings or all of that, they have you build a base terminal at one point and a construction terminal. Since then I have been learning new things from the base terminal but I think it is almost done. I have talked to Artemis, received the translator and I need to get my ranking up with those ugly guys. Anyway, when I put the construction terminal in, no quest for an overseer. Simple as that.
I wish that were that case in my gameplay. I built the construction terminal a week or so ago. No quest for an overseer. I know, he opens up the door for scientific terminals etc. I NEED THIS STUFF LOL. It is really frustrating.
This isn't the Construction Terminal to which you refer. You're talking about the Construction Research Unit. Totally different.
Follow the mainquest and the base computer questline and you will get the blueprint for the Construction Terminal. The rest as mentioned.
During the main starting quest you should be prompted to build a construction terminal. Then the quest start from that point. As long as you have the Expanding Base selected it should show you where to go and find the overseer.
Ok, this makes more sense. Yes, I am talking about the Construction Research Unit now that you mentioned it. So, the base computer will eventually spit out a Construction Terminal?
I usually sell my Salvaged Data because I have to many of them. I mean, I am OCD when it comes to collecting that stuff. I don't recall seeing a Construction Terminal in the anomaly. what is it under? I will assume the Construction Research guy but like what tree?
Not the base computer but the mainquest. As soon as it's mentioned that you shall seek a guy to help you with your base (that's not the overseer), return to your base and upon entering you will get the blueprint. I've mentioned the base computer questline to give you a reason to return to your base - without that you could miss the blueprint at all. ;)
Okay, I am guessing it is further down the road. I have practically lived at my base since starting the game and I just finished the part where you had to triangulate your position to Artemis. I had to speak to Nada about it, which did nothing and now I forget. I think I have to go off world or something.
