Should i do atlas path/black hole missions?
Are those like a side main story missions, or are they like a different main story path than the Artemis/null/apollo one?

from what i have learned about the game , its kind of all rolled into one big story , but ...

with all the bugs surrounding / stemming from the nexus / anomaly , i would leave the story side of the game well alone until you see positive feedback on these forums saying it is SAFE to visit there again , and you will not lose ownership of your base , or the whole base itself ....

game is too broken for me to give a proper answer ,

Do everything.

There's basically 3 entwining main storylines. It doesn't really matter which one you do in what order. I tend to just do them at random while I'm just doing whatever else catches my eye. I do tend to avoid black holes, though, as it breaks a part of your ship each time you use one.

So ican finish the artermis/null/apollo one and then move onto the atlas and balck hole ones?

I believe so. I know that one of the quests sort of "ends" the game (though you keep playing, of course). I'm not sure how it affects the other quests.

Yeah, you can do them in any order you like.

Which of the questlines does that?

The Atlas quest. Also, you can literally say No right at the end if you want to. I'm trying not to spoil anything.

But after credits or whatever you can continue to play normally? It doesnt like roll back your save or something?

Yep, you continue playing, with all of your money, nanites, inventory, ships, freighter, frigates, everything.

Just a heads up: I went through a black hole, didn't pay much attention where I ended up, but instantly got a message for an underwater mission. Started that, cause, hey Subnautica yes..... Found to be lacking in the resources department so built a teleporter and went to get my resources. That went well. But now I cannot return to the base I set up in the post black hole trip. It just doesn't register in the list of bases. Nor does the world I landed on. Weird huh? Maybe it's because I ended up in a different galaxy? But I could get back to my major base from there. I only can't get back to the underwater world. Bummer. About 6 hours down the drain.

Except the initial tutorial (and not even that), you can just do what you want in whichever order, but once you start a mission part better bring it to an end to avoid script errors that could block you or that could fail a particular mission. And against bugs it's simple: save at every location you visit so you won't lose much progress when reloading.
