So yeah, you lose nothing. Your ship just gets broken a bit, so you fix it up, and it's like nothing happened.
I don't lose my unit right?
in game currency.
oh ok thanks guys and which galaxy should i go to?
I know 100 plus hrs of grinding in game.
If you choose to reset the simulation, you move on to another galaxy. You will leave the Euclid galaxy behind.
You will spawn in a new galaxy. All of the tech modules in your exosuit and on your ship will be broken, but you will keep your nanites, units, and cargo. You are presently able to revisit the Euclid galaxy again through teleporters, but this will bug out your teleporter as seen here:

so if i reset my galaxy i keep my freighter and starships?
you lose nothing, but you have to repair "all" tech and upgrades in your exosuit, starship and multi-tool.
and also, somehow, i cant summon my starship in my location. because the thrusters are broken.
