With the Anomaly being a thing, you lose nothing. It used to be you only lost access to your previous bases, but from what I've heard, you can use the Anomaly's teleporter to return to previous universes.

So yeah, you lose nothing. Your ship just gets broken a bit, so you fix it up, and it's like nothing happened.

Yea, return to previous galaxy, but then you cant go back again.

I don't lose my unit right?

FYI- the Atlas quest does not reset your galaxy. You must mean the Artemis quest. Atlas is repeatable as many times as you want and does provide some rewards the first time you do it.

If you choose to reset the simulation, you move on to another galaxy. You will leave the Euclid galaxy behind.

You will spawn in a new galaxy. All of the tech modules in your exosuit and on your ship will be broken, but you will keep your nanites, units, and cargo. You are presently able to revisit the Euclid galaxy again through teleporters, but this will bug out your teleporter as seen here:

You have every thing you had in your previous game including and up to freighters & frigates & starships, completed quests etc.. At that point why not just start a new game. That being said, I did things a bit different. I reset the universe the day before the new Beyond came. When resetting you can have 4 choices of the type of new system your new game will be played in. Since I am a RGP player who just like to explore, I chose the green one since that one results in more friendly planets to explore. Check the other options before you reset since the game doesn't give you a clue. Another bit of advice is to use a starship with no updates as you will have a lot less to repair. One thing to consider is that I reset before Beyond so it could be that things are different than after. One person mentioned that you could not get back to your new system if you used the teleporter in the Anomaly. In my game it showed only teleporters at bases, but not space stations. I am now in the Eissentam Galaxy and it showed my first base in the game in the Euclid Galaxy. I was able to teleport there and back again without a problem. I only wish I could say that about the rest of the game. I do NOT do multi player and most of the updates is to do with that and as such results in a lot of eye candy and even more grind. Not explorer friendly.

just finished the main storyline,

you lose nothing, but you have to repair "all" tech and upgrades in your exosuit, starship and multi-tool.

and also, somehow, i cant summon my starship in my location. because the thrusters are broken.
