How do I know if a sector is wealthy or prospectous
Confused? I can't see a single thing that says this, is it the more stars the better? "Economy"

Equip an economy scanner on your ship. While looking at a system with an economy (since some systems are empty), you'll see an icon showing what type of economy it is, and 1-3 stars next to it. 3 stars are the good ones.

okay thanks, so more stars the better! Cheers! What ones give S class ships and the best frighters, it's my main question. thanks for the response!

The theory is the more wealthy a system is, the more your chance of spawning a S class freighter. It's still RNG, and i've seen someone say he reloaded 60 times to get one.

I believe the wiki said something like 2-star and 3-star economies have s-class ships, but the chance, even at 3-star, is still really low. I spend over 3 hours last night waiting around multiple trade posts and saw precisely one s-class ship, and it was the smallest one possible.

The star rating you're talking about is a systems "general" wealth level from crap at 1 star, okay at 2 star, and great at 3 star. In these star categories you subcategories of wealth.

s- class chances are like 2% at wealthy. there is no magic bullet for finding them easily. it's still a 1 in 50 CHANCE for everything that spawns. 500 attempts later you may still be looking. play the game. an s-class freighter if that's what you're after is about 450million to purchase

Is that a new Beyond price? Last S-class freighter I bought was 174 million.

Depends on how lucky you are. I got an S class freighter in one hour with about 10 warps. So very lucky I think. I didn't have the economy scanner, but had a "feeling" about one system being the best chance, and it turned out that is where I found it.

You need to equip an economy scanner on your starship, and then look for the symbol while viewing the systems in the star map.

Unlimited. If it's equipped, you could tell the economy of a system a million lightyears out of your jump range if you wanted to.

Its sad that you cant buy ships from a "player". Making over 500 Mio the day, but can't "share" it :D
