Thanks. I will take a look but the thing is I only opened 1 drop pod so far and that was the tutorial mission. After that the drop pods ceased working. I will try out somethings and see what happens. I really want new tech slots and inventory slots in my inventory.

There is a 48 slot limit on the main suit, 14 tech and in my case 42 on cargo, but the ladder is because i am playing and old save. Never players have a 48 cargo slot limit too iirc.

Cool. Thx luZk. I didn't know the exact number. Did not know how many cargo slot either.

@ Kafes - I just found yesterday they put the keyboard remap ability back in and some of my keys were defaulted back to 2 yrs ago.

Bottom line was I thought something was broke until I went in and remapped to my settings. So I would check if that might have something to do with your problem.

Actually guys I found out whats happening here. The game keeps marking the same drop pods that I have allreay opened for some reason. As time passes between my visits I didn't realize they were the same ones. You still can, for some reason, fix the drop pod but you get no rewards for it. I did this a couple of times untill I found one that wasn't allready repaired. This one was showing the hologram of an exosuit. I repaired it and got the chance to uprade my slots.

So bottomline is, don't repair drop pods that don't show a holographic exosuit projection inside it. Also, why the hell are drop pods I've repaired keep getting marked by my exocraft/signal boosters?

That one Kafes; has always been there. You'll find a lot of things or sights you visited will show up as new on the maps. It's frustrating, but it's always been that way.

It's 2020 End of January, And this is still an issue, since... Well? Way too long, if we count the time when i just simply tired the game. (don't ask!) 😁

Anyway, i wonder whet they fixing it alongside the crashed freighters remaining marked bug?

Would it make sense to only use Drop Pod Coordinate Data once per planet?

My first Drop Pod got me a reward, second Drop Pod on same planet didn't get me a reward (I haven't gotten further than that yet).

So I'm thinking to not try more on the same planet?

Make sure you are close to the inventory gadget when you repair it. If you are too far away it will not automatically activate and you don't get to the inventory expansion menu. You will then have to get close and activate it again manually.

From my experience it does not matter how many drop pod coordinates you use on a planet. You will always get to a new one. It seems as many as you need will be created.

One more thing. sometimes after repairing the drop-pod, it doesn't give you the inventory slot automatically like it normally does, in which case you have to interact with it a second time. the same happens with damaged machinery and boxes.

Just a mention on the "it keeps sending me to the same one I've already used" deal:

That can also happen with Distress Beacons (crashed spaceships) and Crashed Freighters (those on the planet surface).

Right now I'm playing a Survival game and am at the stage of crawling a planet for drop pods to max out my inventory. Occasionally I find one of the other things I mentioned while I'm looking for drop pods, or a Transmission Tower (which then points me to one of those other things).

I find that, at some point, the Transmission Towers; the Exocraft Drop Pod scanner; and other ways of locating those things - point me over and over to the same places.

So what I do is place a Base Computer at the "bad" Distress and Freighter locations - that way, when I find a new pointer to one, I can immediately see if it is the same one by the base-icon overlapping the pointer on the HUD, and can then skip re-visiting it again.

For Drop Pods, when the Exocraft scanner starts finding the same ones over and over, I get in my spaceship and fly maybe 100,000-klicks in some direction, and find a place to land and start again. Usually that gets me a new "set" of Drop Pods (which will repeat after awhile - then launch and travel again).

That's a known bug. The drop pods reset if you reload/load a save but the game tracks which pods you have used so if you previously used tha tpod it will allow you to repair it but give you no reward. Change locations on the planet by a good amount of distance or change planets.

If you want to be absolutely sure that you don't re-repair the same drop pod put a save beacon next to it to remind yourself that you have all ready used that drop pod.

Twice per planet is guaranteed safe, if you search for the second while standing near the first.

If you leave your "E" marker at the first, then search from the second, you can tell whether the third one is the first one again, and get a third one if it isn't. It's risky after that.
