Report a translation problem
Translator Modules don't help you learn languages faster. They're only good for briefly uncovering X# of words while you're speaking with aliens.
Learning the languages is already a really slow grind if you dont mod the game... the translator almost doesn't feel like its worth the inventory slot.
1 + 2 + 3 = 6
Example word
there 7 unknown word
so 6 will be auto decipher? while 1 word still unknown
I prefer to think I'm getting 3! amount of words translated while I don't see it doing anything, because I thought it would change the word color to green (or red? then it's working), and to me anything with factorials are HUGE NUMBAS!
e.g., 3! is: 1 * 2 * 3 = 6. It's the same, but to me because it's now expressed as a factorial, it's larger! ;)
Thanks to NuckinFuts for explaining their actual function to me, because the game's description is pretty vague.
AFAIK, only moment where this is important is in fabrics or headquaters where you solve the puzzle. Maybe also with Monoliths.
There.
You're welcome.
I don't know if they are supposed to but right now they don't.
