Helios and Ares in the Anomaly

I have a little problem:
I spoke with Helios once and traded planet information for nanites. Since then there is only one dialogue option: Talk about the past. Nothing else. Is Helios just a one time nanite grab? Or am I missing something? Or is it just borked for me?
Same goes for Ares:
I could speak one time with him and trade nanites for information. Since then the option to give him nanites is grayed out. Despite my ridicolous amount of nanites which I could throw at him. Is he a one time nanite trade, too? Or is the nexus not working for me as intended.
For further information - I don't use multiplayer. Maybe it's related to this?
Would be glad if someone could bring some light into this.

No you can return to Helios he takes time tho, same with Ares. They have a cool down. I'm guessing that cool down is somewhere between 24 and 36 hours just the farmer and scientist on your own base

And this I feared as I played nonstop since launch of Beyond which is more than a week. And guess what? No resetting of the dialogue option. Is it working for you? Then this would be a bug in my game.

Same here. The very first time worked, afair. Since then, only the "past"-option with helios. When talking to Ares I have the "offer nanite"-option on screen, but it's grey and I can't choose it.

same here, never got any nanites from ares and only have the 'give nanites' option, first time he gave me a marker to a grave where i got a glyph. but nothing else

same and i can't find anyone who has been able to fix this quite annoying tbh

Same in all the hours since Beyond dropped i've only had that option.. I never even got to trade planet info ever, the other guys give nothing or no story.. ever.

Also the disappearing ships in space stations seems to be effecting nexus for me as well i see people then they all vanish thanos style..

I wont lie these bugs are taking a tole..

Hi !!

Got the same problem and find a solution about Ares and Helios. I noticed in discovery menu in the left corner "Connecting to online discovery service" but nerver connect. After a few research, it was about TLS1.0 protcol wich was desactivate on No Man's Sky for Windows 7 User.

Ti fix this, I installed "KB3140245" for windows (but it was already installed for me" and then I installed "MicrosoftEasyFix51044.msi"

After installed this fix, discovery service was online in my discevery menu, et I could talked to Ares and Helios and get my nanites !
