Is there more than one energy hotspot per planet?

So far, it seems like no, but I'm just asking. Ever since finding the first one, any further use of the surveying visor just points me back to the same location, saying 'hotspot found'.

I don't know if I'll ever need more power than I currently have, but it would be nice to know if hunting for another hotspot was pointless or not.

Yes. You need to walk away from the one you've already found. At some point it'll just show you the next resource spot. May take quite a bit of walking until you find another energy hotspot. Patience is key. I found multiple energy hotspots on every planet I tried.
Somethimes they're 600 units apart - sometimes 2000 or more.

You have to get more than like 250-400u away to detect another hotspot, they are placed like every 500-800u across the entire planet and it will only point you toward the closest one.

Took me quite awhile to find an S class energy. TBH Id be more concerned about finding an S class mining field on an indium planet.
