Resources disappearing in portable refiner

I just put 3.000 copper in the refiner, hit refine and left my base for a bit. When I came back it was empty like I had never put anything in there.

So far I've lost my freighter, 2 ships that were on it and now I'm losing resources that I spent hours mining. I'm so frustrated.

I've been having the same issue with the nutrient machine. Lost a whole bunch of faecium and star bulbs.

Any refinery, harvester and nutrient machine are bugged. You have to stay near them until done. I hope they fix it soon.

The powered refiners - medium and large - seem to be safe. I loaded them with scrap and goo before bed; they were still loaded when I woke up, and they still processed as I explored an entire star system. The rest, however, are indeed losing both materials and fuel both when leaving an area and when reloading.

Same here, lost loads of resources in the refiners. Have to stand and wait for them to finish.

Im loosing namy times source from portable rafinering but only when I leave solar system... when Im on planet and mining, all stuf is still in rafinery, when Im leave solar system it delete all stuf in portable rafinery... now I have large rafinery but still dont risk it and take all minerals to my inventory when leaving solar system.

Yup refineries and harvesters are bugged. When you use them wait for them to be done or you'll lose your resources when joining in MP or when you leave your planet

I can confirm this is still an issue. I have just lost 250,000 units worth of resources... poo!

This is still an issue - it happened while I was literally still IN the menu with it. I looked down at my cat who was meowing, looked up, refiner was empty.

At this point, the bug of things disappearing from refiners is NOT fixed -- this bug is occuring because they eliminated the dooping bug from the refiners. Don't leave anything in any kind of a refiner including the nutrient processor.

Same I have lost 8K+ induim in each of 7 large refiners multiple times aand 8K+ emeril and the portable mining units are the worst as well all 7 on a node empty each time I return - I have stopped using them

It's looks like they won't or can't fix this bug anymore, same as portable harvester, antimatter harvester even the new nutrient processor.

Yep. Just used a large rafinery to smelt 1k metal scrap. It was supposed to take 8 minutes or so. Left the planet in the meantime to do a quest, I came back 5 minutes later to see the rafinery totally empty. Just my luck.

same problem here. my large refiners on planet dump inventory when i leave the planet and come back via small ship. Teleporting in with a warp gates seems to be fine (although i have a different issue with it teleporting me to my base computer instead of my warp gate). But yea i can leave the planet by ship or teleport but if i come back by ship poof all gone (large refiners only so far). For large refiners on my capitol ship however, it dumps any time i warp it to a new location.

I actually had the opposite happen recently where I guess disappeared resources came back.
