Tritium is common enough you can get thousands in just 5-10 minutes or sommat. Platinum is always going to be slow, but here's the thing. You can refine platinum with a 2 or better slot refiner using Silver+Gold which is probably the easiest way of getting it.
Also, those cheaper special minerals like Herox, Lemmium, Dirty Bronze, etc (not the expensive stuff like Geodesite), you can throw those into a refiner to get hundreds of gold/silver and once you start doing stuff like Frigate Missions, you get a ton of those (also commonly found in Buried Mineral Deposits that come up on your scanner while you walk around on a planet). You can also get them by shooting down pirates or bounty ships, or by attacking resource depots (though those obviously incur sentinel wrath).
Iridesite and Geodesite are worth quite a lot of money, but if you don't care about money, they go into 250 plat each.
