I opened my ship inventory to find 20 stasis devices in there. Looking at them they are a high value item. How did they get there? Is it a bug? Could somebody have gifted them to my ship while at the Nexus? Confused......

Could have been a rando in the Nexus sent them, but it's more likely you completed random missions that awarded them.

I would say a gift from a rando. Doubtful that u got 20 of them for missions.

If you do not know what they are, then they are a gift, transferred from another player.

Probably you're right. It's too expensive to be mission reward. Even one and here we have 20 pieces. I have also 20 of them (my own production) and 20 of Fusion Ignitor and hold all of those in backpack to give someone as a giveaway.

but sell them all at once in one system or otherwise you'll get significantly less next time you will try to sell it...

the system's market network lower the price if you often sell one specific item every time you log into trade terminal.

correct me if i'am wrong but that's what happened to ionised cobalt i was happilly "farming" :/

at trade terminals or pilots. look at space stations in space or trading posts on the planets...

Same happened to me the other day. someone gifted me 5 stasis devices in the Nexus, totally at random. I almost feel like I cheated somehow, but hey, it wasn't my own doing lol

You can fill up peoples inventory slots with carbon when they are busy looking at the upgrade stations then they wonder why they cant buy something due to full inventories. :D

Disable multiplayer and only enable it when you intend to play with your friends. It will solve 99% of your problems.

I think it's a glitch that needs attention. Don't get me wrong, what happened was nice, but I can see this as getting abusive at some point. Whats to stop somebody from filling your inventory with totally useless items, or could they remove stuff from you.

eram already implied that they use it to grief, which is why I disable multiplayer except while playing with friends.
