You also need to keep interacting with the base computer to unlock other blue prints as you progress. The only issue is that it takes 1 hour 30 minutes real time before you can access the base computer again and then ONLY if you did what was required to complete that quest (like build an appearance modifier) or unpin the formula. The new count down ONLY starts after you complete that or unpin the formula.
Edit - Make sure you have the base computer as the active quest or the base computer sequence won't advance. You'll only get rename base and leave as options (unless you built a large enough base to get the upload base option.)
It can be a bit confusing, because the early game just keeps shuffling new missions on you left and right. When in doubt, check your log and highlight the mission of interest.
Pretty much, if you read carefully and follow instructions...it is pretty hard to get lost. The key part is to read the instructions before just running around
No, they don't. That all takes place in the home system. That's why people have home systems that have vendors that won't talk to them (as I do) and GalacticJessi and Däguas. Check the thread titled "Help with mission board."
Yeah your right...told you it was confusing.
Sounds like you used the free one to get to the next system before you got the antimatter blue print. The other thing you could do is have someone help you. If you have someone friend you, you can join a multiplayer game, they can give you a warp cell, and you can use it to get back to your home system and get the antimatter blue print.
If you can go that route don't forget to tell your helper what difficulty and what platform you are on.

I more then likely did exactly that, I didn't mean to, probably just not paying attention. However, your's is the best idea i've heard so far. I'll just have to get a friend to help me. thanks.
Not your fault. You would be surprised how many people this happens to. The mission text is NOT very clear about this and Awakenings isn't straight forward as a tutorial. You have to go into the base computer during Awakenings in order to proceed and you have to know when to switch quests/missions to do that.
I can help you if you want. Just send a friend request and I'll set up a multiplayer game and get you a warp cell or 2. I'm on PC and can help with normal or permadeath.
I died, got stuck in a building and ship took too much damage. Thanks for the offers though! :)
