What happens to a deleted base?
So this last update, power and wiring issues, so I decided to start fresh. I deleted my farm and wanted to start over closer to a hotspot.. problem is.. how do I get all of the hundreds of plants, planters, materials from the old base? I created a new base, but there was no option to get the lost resources and plants.. anyone have a pointer?

What do you mean..you Deleted your base? When you delete a part, the resources go back to your inventory.

Wait... you just walked up to your base computer and hit delete with all your stuff still built?

If you lost ownership of the base due to a bug then no way to get it back as far as i know. If you have ownership then press Z to bring up the build menu, then hold down Ctrl key, point at whatever you want to delete and left click.

If you go and delete all parts manually, you get ALL your resources back. If you hit delete... you lose everything.

Yep.. lost everything.. <sigh>. God that was a lot of work... could harvest about 30 million in 24 hours....oh well.

You might try creating the base salvage unit....assuming it still exists in Beyond. It used to hold the mats when your base got deleted when you moved galaxies. It may still have 50% of the mats that made up your base. Exactly how much is another unanswered question now that people can build gigantic bases.

Build the Previous Base Cache.. it's in there... some of the resources.. (glitch decors will not return)...

Really? Bummer I was hoping resources would be dumped in the salvage cache.

So, just as a point of information and follow up.. I built the Base Cache and it looks like most if not all of the resources were present... Now am in the process of building a new base.. Thanks everyone for their input and willingness to help. :)
