You found a planet with a decent climate?
These vehicles have always needed a First Person view option since day one. Until HG wakes up to this fact, I will continue to ignore all of the Exocraft.
I have all the other exocraft, and use them mainly for extra storage. I have all the geobays at one of my bases and just summon them if I need some of the stuff I have stored in them, else they are mainly just parked.
I love the Nomad, especially since it can glide across water. I use it exclusively for the most part. Once in a great while I may summon the Roamer as I have all the scanner upgrades installed in it and it is useful for finding various buildings, as mentioned in an earlier post.
I am finding, however, the 3rd person view has been made MUCH worse since Beyond came out.
The vehicle completely blocks my view, which makes using the mining laser a real chore.
Did mention this in a bug report, and hopefully at some point HG will get around to either adjusting the camera height up a fair amount or preferably give us non-VR users an option for first person view.
You can't see 5 meters infront of you when a storm hits making your exocraft as useful as a stormshelter as your plane that you can also summon instantly, without a pad or anything.
Nautilon only one to get you stably into new enviro'.
jet jump, decent mods and melee boost. Eat any Exo'.
