Cannot Find Hyperdrive Blueprint
A week ago I made a new character with the beyond update. I got through a few quests and had a little base, then one day I joined my friends game and we went to this planet to farm storm crystals. Ever since then my singleplayer game just has the one awakening quest that tells me to warp to almost 10 systems away, and it's a green system. I have not received a blueprint for the hyperdrive, and all it tells me to do is acquire one.

I've tried scanning while I'm in space to see if I could pick up something, but I haven't found anything. I tried googling it, but I haven't really found anyone else with a similar problem. I did, however, watch someone on youtube and they received the blueprint from a crashed freighter. I even found a crashed freighter by using the signal booster, but it didn't give me the blueprint. I'm beginning to think it's a bug. I was wondering if y'all have any advice for me?

all blueprints are now in the anomaly.

I believe that in order for me to be able to get to the anomaly, I need to complete the awakenings quest. I can't complete the quest because it is in another system and I do not have a hyperdrive installed. It's not telling me how to get one either.

You have the option to "reset" main quest lines. When reading the mission description in the log you should see the option to do so.

I was having the same issue UNTIL TODAY! I had to build a science terminal, recruit a scientist and do a few of its quests THEN I obtained a distress signal that took me to a crashed freighter and the damaged machinery there gave me the Hyperdrive blueprint!

Quest line gives you the blueprint and initial fuel .... no other way to get it. Sounds like you jumped to your friends system and have not returned...

You need to get back were your were or you’ll need to start over.

Check the space station teleported... although I doubt it’ll be active as it doesn’t become active until you used your hyperdrive a few times... hmm , if you can’t might as well start over as you haven’t gotten very far with game.

I logged in and went to my mission log, but the only option it gives me is to exit. Even if i hover over it or click it, it doesn't change anything.

I'm in my original system because I can get to my base. I think I may just have to start over

An option that might work is to build a LAND base in your current system. Make sure to upload it- and it should become your active base and the mission pointers will point to it.

If you get that, then add the specialists. I recommend using cuboid rooms for a number of great reasons. You must of took off with your buddy too soon, because they have changed the story and you get the hyperdrive and antimatter BP really early now- to reduce players wandering off before they really have what they need.

do you happen to have access to the space anomaly (nexus) cause it looks like it is available there?
you can spend a few nanites for the hyperdrive there;however, in a normal situation you get access to it from a mission at which point you already have the hyperdrive....

maybe, if you can get someone to pull you in there then you can purchase the hyperdrive but then you wont be able to continue with the mission since it's like multilple warps away from were you are.

since you are in home system, maybe the quest got set on your friends system and that's were it wants you to warp to? if you can join your friend there again maybe you can continue the misison there?...
