You need to get back were your were or you’ll need to start over.
Check the space station teleported... although I doubt it’ll be active as it doesn’t become active until you used your hyperdrive a few times... hmm , if you can’t might as well start over as you haven’t gotten very far with game.
An option that might work is to build a LAND base in your current system. Make sure to upload it- and it should become your active base and the mission pointers will point to it.
If you get that, then add the specialists. I recommend using cuboid rooms for a number of great reasons. You must of took off with your buddy too soon, because they have changed the story and you get the hyperdrive and antimatter BP really early now- to reduce players wandering off before they really have what they need.
you can spend a few nanites for the hyperdrive there;however, in a normal situation you get access to it from a mission at which point you already have the hyperdrive....
maybe, if you can get someone to pull you in there then you can purchase the hyperdrive but then you wont be able to continue with the mission since it's like multilple warps away from were you are.
since you are in home system, maybe the quest got set on your friends system and that's were it wants you to warp to? if you can join your friend there again maybe you can continue the misison there?...
