What's the deal with the launching pad door?
Why isn't it aligning right?

Not sure if it's the launch pad or the rooms tbh, my specialists and their stations are hovering off the floor in a room attached to a launch pad with the irony being, if the actual room floor was at the height they are hovering it would align with the launch pad door properly!

If I may just pop in to 'Second' this, I had to stop connecting the new Landing Pads to doors, as even the doors 'they create themselves' don't line up... with themselves lol

Same issue here, not sure why it's only effecting some folks. I had thought it was due to the scale change on the ships (and related base parts).

But that's only to another Landing Pad...

It won't connect properly to a hallway or structure on the flat ground ;)

At least attaching to a corridor or room you can still walk through it, with the 'basic' doorway you can't even go through.

I've seen some bases with Beyond-era landing pads connected to bases without doors, does anyone know how to do that?

Not exactly sure about your question but, if you lay down a grid of large floor pieces (concrete, metal, wood) then the LP will snap to it. I suggest that you go at least 7x7 to start. You can trim later. The reason for so large is that if the LP snaps to near one or two edges then trying to add more floor pieces gives the "Invalid Location" or some such.

Mine aligned properly with each other, though.

Actualy not. It will not snap. It's just placed the same as "on the ground".
It is 5x5 for basic floors. The 5x5 does see placement and alow you to line it up better.
You can even "place it" on a single floor. But nothing will line up any better.

Well, actually is actually getting worn out. Let me just say that I was able to snap an LP to a 6x6 grid of large concrete floor pieces. I had to be back a ways and probably used Camera mode.

...Right, thanks everyone. :) I'd noticed that I could snap metal floors to the bottom of an existing pad, but as said it couldn't be extended. If you can start with the floors and snap the pad to it, that has some potential!

No.It does look like that but I can assure you they are full size. I started with a 6 x 6 and just kept removing floor pieces.

Those are not floor pieces. The real floor pieces are hidden as can be seen in the next screenshot where I had a much larger grid.
