Atlas path quest repeats infinitely

So when you need to speak to Atlas with the heart of sun or something, you activate several pillars then talk to it, it gives you the recipe for a health tech... Then it tells you to seek a black hole.

I didn't do that right away, although later I did find a black hole and jumped, nothing at all happened.

Then later on I notice it tells me to speak to Atlas again. So I go there again (it shows me that same place as quest objective location) and again I have to raise all the pillars and AGAIN it requires heart of sun or whatever.

So I craft the thing again and speak, and the same story repeats again, I even get the same blueprint again even though I already have it crafted.

So it tells me to go to black hole.... which I didn't do right away.

Needless to say, right now it tells me to speak to Atlas again so I have to craft damn thing again... This time though I want to get it done right.

Anyway how do I proceed to do this quest to the end so it wouldn't repeat again? Do I need to go to black hole right after speaking to atlas without reloading the save? Do I need to just fly into the black hole and then the quest advances? Is it a specific black hole or any will do?

There, currently, is a bug with this quest. So, yes, it's mandatory to use the black hole right away after obtaining this quest. If this will fix your quest now, after it got bugged out, I don't know.

It is not a bug. There is nothing to fix. The Atlas quest can be done as many times as you like. Just ignore the mission if you are sated. It will always be in your log if you change your mind and want to give it another run.

But you don't really get anything out of it, do you? There's no opportunity to restart the simulation, the Star Seed is unique, you get nothing.

The whole point of the quest is to get the Star Seed so you can gain an extra hit point. You achieved the goal, move on and don't worry about it, too many other amazing things to do in the game.
