Refueling Science Ship or ships in Fleet

I have a frighter and a science ship in my fleet. I can't seem to start an expidition though. The "Start Mission" button is always disabled.

It just shows that it needs 50 tonnes. How do I refuel it?

You need to craft the fuel (preferably in the freighter inventory, since it has no use outside your fleet). It takes X dihydrogen and X tritium to craft X tonnes. For example, 50 dihydrogen and 50 tritium will net you 50 tonnes of frigate fuel.

build the fuel, you should have gotten the recipe when you got the freighter. then you just need to have the fuel in one of your inventories

Doh ... thanks. WIll do that now. At the moment the hyper drive on the frighter is fully charged.
