Very few people in Nexus all of a sudden.
For a few hours now, there are only like 3 to 5 ppl that show up in the Nexus.

Of course, player base has dropped dramatically since Beyond came out, plus in UK and Europe it's very early in the AM

It could be a local thing, I'm not sure how the Nexus actually work. But I can say that the number of players going back to normal, I expect it stays around 7 k with most of them playing with the network off.

nah just the player base dropped from 60k to 10k, obviously u gonna encounter less n less people when they realise the limitations of Beyond and stopped playing, happens every update

Yeah, as suspected I'd have to say it's just the post-update player drop. I'm giving the game a break as well, just until some quality of life patches hit the main branch.

Some people may have turned multiplayer off as well due to all the bugs in the Nexus, which have been mostly fixed now.

No wonder, HG just wanted to add a big hub to gather people together when there's no point in doing so, Co op missions are a lame joke, even the keyboard using what? EU layout is pathetic and wonky, why would players want to band together? They don't.

Beyond just really added vr, MP was a failure just as expected and the tweaks here and there are just alright, but absolutely not what nms sorely needed to be a good game.

I'll insist in saying nms needs to reach 1.0

As the game goes it has now far more bugs than before, MP were buggy but playable but at moment MP is utterly pointless when friends can't even join because can't see the other online so for them to join... in MP or even in single player there are now bugs where before didn't exist so the game atm is a bug feast with a bug popping out every corner and everywhere.

I thought it was based on game mode, survival had lots of people, when i switched to perma I would sometimes be alone and most ive seen is like 5-6 ships.

Perma was empty last night. Back to playing offline like the other ~364.25 days per year.

Well, i was interested in VR but performance is so bad that i cant play. Exploration is still the same so i think the playerbase is the same as before (or It has gronwn very little).
