How do I get switches?

This is basically non googable cause it just comes up with rumors about Nintendo Switch ports, welp! Anyway, I researched everything under the core habitation tech in the construction research unit but still can't build any kind of switches - the only thing which comes up in the build menu under that point is electrical wiring.
Edit: Same thing for "industrial"

Go to the nexus/space anomaly and use the consoles there to learn stuff. way way more stuff available .
