Stuck in Atlas Station after using the portal with the glyphs.

Well, that's the gist of it here's what happend I finished the lay lines mission opened a portal got transferred to an atlas station where 3 entities were floating and there were no options and I can't leave because I have no ship so now I'm wondering what is supposed to happen after entering the portal.

Maybe talk to the Atlas? Usually what you do.... or reload your last save. Those are you choices.

It's an incredible luck that you ended in a system with an Atlas Station after going through a portal, the game may not account for that and all sort of bugs could happen. (You are supposed to explore and return, not to do missions).

Or did you enter the system in a MP session? In that case it's better to end your MP session first before visiting the Atlas, a lot of MP scenarios are bugged while in SP they are not.

How do I know if I'm in MP mode? Explore and return what do you mean by this? I went through the portal bubbles were floating around as I was exploring, I got sucked into an atlas station I tried talking the 3 entities and it said some stuff then said leave. I clicked leave and then I get stuck, I can't do anything, should I wait longer, did I miss something?

I know my choices for getting out. I keep a record of my saves almost hourly, but that won't help me figure out why I get stuck. I tried talking to the 3 entities floating there and I went through the screen they said some ♥♥♥♥ at the end of the conversation the only choice was to click leave, I did that and then I'm stuck, no ship, no portals. Did I miss something? Did I maybe not wait long enough? Which is why I am asking what's supposed to happen, so I can try and determine what's going on.

SO the mission is go open a portal I do that when I go through the portal after 30 to 60 seconds, I see error 16 16 16 atlas protocol, then I get sucked into an atlas station, mission log doesn't change and I'm stuck with no way off the station.

Well, I discovered that a mod was the casue of my mission problems not sure how a tweak mod could affect a mission but it did. Can anyone tell me how to display artefacts?

I think you need to have a milestone above a certain level to get the Atlas to respond. SO it appears (I'm guessing here) that you just happened to be at the part of the Atlas path where you need to achieve a level before you can continue. But instead on being at the Atlas during the Atlas path you happened there during a different mission.

So my guess is that you need to put that part on hold and build your milestones a couple times and then try again.
