Terrain manipulator - how to change size?
Does anyone know how to change the size of the terrain manipulator while removing soil?
For me this only works when adding soil.
I usually play on X Box One controller but could not find it on keyboard as well.

Also the T toggles the head lamp, unless I'm missing something.

It will also change the size of the bubble.

Ok, it seems to be a key binding issue again or a bug.

If you play on X Box controller alone you can not change size while removing soil (adding soil works with Controller LT and RT). But pressing R or T on key board does work for me (thanks Dirak2012 for help). - so this seems to help for now.
In the controller option menu there is nothing described to add this function to the LT RT buttons.
So I suppose they just forgot to add this function (or removed it) during their Beyond updates (like already stated here). I have just written a ticket to Hello Games about this issue.

Exactly, for me hints for pressing LT and RT are only shown on screen when in adding terrain mode but not in removal mode.

So I would conclude that removing terrain is a function that has not been implemented for the Controller so far or it has simply been removed.

We have to wait and keep using keyboard for this.

Adding terrain mode commands also work in removal mode for me on keyboard.

I can also confirm that even if you use the keyboard to change the size of the terrain tool down to small and then try to switch back to the controller to actually do the digging, the controller will automatically default the size back to medium. This also means that controller players are losing out on a lot of resources because the smallest size produces the most material per mining site.
