Why can't I connect my short-range teleporters?????

I've been working on getting my SR teleporters to function for a hot minute now and can't crack the code. I've tried every which way to connect them with no avail. They are powered up and have been connected to the same power grid in more than one way, yet I am not being teleported.

Does anyone have a video for how to set them up or know exactly how to get them to work??

I know it shouldn't be this hard but I'm starting to think there is a bug.

In short, how am I suppose to wire my SR teleporters so I can use them?

Power is not a problem and distance is definitely not the issue (I even tried them only a mere few feet away).

Any help appreciated!

That's what regular teleporters are for.

Regular teleporters are fine between bases, but they don't work within a single base. Guess what happens when you're stringing power almost 1000 units; it's one base. Guess how annoying it is that teleporting into the base dumps you at the base computer at one end, rather than the actual main teleporter about 600u away.

200u for SRT is useless. Why should it take half a dozen teleporters in three pairs to cross that distance? It's even more ludicrous since the teleporter cable can't even be strung on any structure made for running the power cables.
