Powering the Base quest bug

Hey everyone! So I am supposed to connect the biofuel reactor to the power grid at the moment and that is exactly what i did. i built a battery, a solar panel and the biofuel reactor, however when i connect all 3 of those the quest does not proceed. is this a known bug or am i doing anything wrong?

Don't build Biofuel Reactors. They use huge ammount of minerals. Build few Solar Panels instead. If you have to make some grid for yours existing buildings (chose Round, Square or Cuboids) make 5 Solar panels, connect it to 2 Batteries, and one of Battery connect to spacial connectors outside buildings. If u have base construction make from Basic Components just connect to any device that need power (e.g. Terminus Gate).

Well the quest is telling me to connect the power grid to the biofuel reactor, so I think I actually have to do that :/

You may need to attach the generator to something which actually uses electricity.

You need to build the biofuel reactor, connect it to the teleport unit and then power it.
Any steps outside that don't satisfy the quest step completion.

Yeah, no. Doesn't work. Think this quest breaks if you do it in multiplayer.

I've done it in multiplayer many times. The quest line hand holds you. You have to follow the instructions exactly as they are written in the order they are written.

This quest is very buggy in multiplayer if you are standing in a friend's base. For me the quest objectives keep changing depending on whether I'm standing inside or outside. Sometimes it tells me to go gather resources, sometimes it tells me to check a nonexistent entry about powering the base in the log, and sometimes it tells me to hook the biofuel reactor up to the teleporter.

I built my own biofuel reactor but hooked it up to a friend's teleporter, instead of completing the quest step, most of the base glitched out and disappeared on my computer. My friends were still seeing the base and able to interact with it, but for me there was a rectangular shaped hole in the terrain and I could walk through the area where the walls and floor were supposed to be.
