No ship radar?
I have no radar when piloting the space ship. I don't recall this being a problem when I played before. Am I missing something? Thanks!

Is there an incoming message that you need to answer?

You have to be in 1st person to see the radar. I'm guessing you are flying around in 3rd person?

First person and no radar.

OK, I do have radar but the space station does not show up. Hmm.

Are you in an abandoned system? some do not have a space station.

No, the system is not abandoned. I have visited the space station a couple times but I have to locate it by flying near the main cluster of planets and then follow the faint lines that show ship travel routes.

Do you know what you're looking for? Space stations show up as a little diamond shape on the radar.

I guess I did not know what I was looking for. Thanks. I seem to remember a hexagonal radar indicator icon saying 'space station'. It was white and brown colored.

That's the icon that shows on the compass at the top of the screen, and in the system / cockpit view itself,

Right, that icon does not show. Maybe I need a radar upgrade?

This is a feature when overflying glacial or highly toxic planets: the radar fades out simulating a condensation effect. This effect lasts for seconds only, change altitude and it will return to normal.
I guess this is what you mean.
If you play below high grafic settings these effects may not show-up decently, simply cutting-off the radar, try playing at high settings to see the difference.

I found complaints that it is a bug (recent online posts). Some players report that after doing a few random log events and just clicking on log events corrects the problem. I will update if it comes back.
