Platinum Mineral Deposits?
Do platinum mineral deposits exist on any kind of world detectable with the survey hotspot scanner?

Not sure, I've only ever found platinum in asteroids.

There are rare planetary deposits... or at least there were. I can't say I recall seeing one since I started playing again recently.

yes but you can make platinum in a refinery using gold and silver. you have to have a medium refiner though. you can use a large but at least a medium, the bug was fixed.

if they exist I haven't found one, not that you can use the new powered extractor on.

I just found one tonight, might be my first. Indium and gold were two of the primary resources, and caves had cobalt stalagmites and stalactites that had gold and silver as secondary minerals. It was a "hydro garden" type, and the one species was a wisp-like energy creature, and the landscape was dotted with "terrariums".

Gold & Silver aye?
Well now I know what to do with all of the extra Herox, Lemmium & Magno-Gold. That stuff just seems to pile up after a while. Now I'll convert it to Nanites instead of selling it.

plated planets, rare, but they exist. asteroids really ar your best mining or heavy commitment to refining
