Yeah, those sensitivity settings seem to not do anything. GG HG.

Still a problem - makes me feel ill playing it now.

I have the opposite problem - it's too damn slow for me. The culprit is mouse acceleration. Which I have set to 0 but Hello Games don't know how to program it properly. So even at zero, there is still some very noticable mouse acceleration. I don't understand why any devs put mouse acceleration into games. It's like "hey you know that mouse movement that you're used to on your desktop, let us ♥♥♥♥ it up for you!"

2016 and you don't have a mouse with DPI settings? It doesn't excuse HG, but come on.

I use 400 and it's still all over the place.

Change DPI from your mouse. That's all.

It makes zero sense to expect people would buy an expensive gaming mouse to play a console port. It would be much more reasonable to have an in-game option to disable mouse acceleration/smoothing.

That said, a good mouse does make everything better indeed.

I've been using logitech mice for 12+ years and they are just awesome. Cheap (when compared to other gaming mice), durable, awesome performance, decent software. Worth every penny, no regrets whatsoever.

Bought razer once and gave it away, because it was just awful, hardware and software.
Having an opportunity to change dpi has nothing to do with prices.

To me it feels like the cursor actively avoids targetting directly in the middle of my screen, it seems to always jump a few pixels past the mid-point in any direction which makes targetting anything in space a total nightmare, also doesn't really help with space flight either as the pulse drive has no steering, so if I'm off by a fraction from a distance I miss the planet by the time I've got to it.

One problem though.

On my system (and probably many others), the difference between walking and menu is extremely high.

It works fine in menu's and extremely fast while walking, or the other way around.
So that requires constant dpi switching.

People are still talking about DPI? It's not about DPI! It's about the inability to completely turn off mouse acceleration! That's the real culprit! I have used a Logitech G700s before with different DPI settings for NMS - it made no difference. The mouse movement always felt off. I currently use a Razer Deathadder, again with a custom DPI profile specifically for NMS, with mouse acceleration set to 0, and it still feels like ♥♥♥♥! DPI isn't the issue, it's the fact that Hello Games are too incopetent to program an ability to completely turn off mouse acceleration and give us a proper desktop-like movement of the mouse.

Funny I have a different take on that. I still have the G700s, and while it is a great mouse overall, I have probably seen the software update once in all the 2 or so years I've owned it. Razer on the other hand seems to update it every couple of weeks or so. Also the UI on the Logitech's software looks tiny and some parts are cut off completely on my 4k monitor, while the Razer software looks proper. I also like the ergonomics of the DeathAdder more than the G700s.

First off Wireless mouses are generally trash for gaming as they have more of a lag to them. Secondly I have a Raazor Naga the last thing i need for my computer is a better mouse...

I have a Razor Naga with DPI adjustment on the mouse... changing it has done nothing

I have the ouroborous, which I got because it has some rare qualities: it can be adjusted to be large enough for my hands. It is not ergonomically shaped for a specific hand (I switch mousing hands regularly due to a repetative motion injury from way back). By itself that isn't very uncommon, but it ALSO has the same mb4&5 on both sides of the mouse, so when I switch hands I don't lose those buttons.

First, it built up gunk like you wouldn't believe, I had to clean it every week. It was just nasty.

...that's an odd complaint. Wouldn't the gunk be coming from things other than the mouse (your hand, your mouse pad, your desk)? I'm not really clear how this is the fault of the mouse.

My mouse is very lightweight, in a good way, but not nearly light enough for the cable (which is optional) to pull it off the table by the cable's weight alone.

Yup. Hair trigger buttons. I love them, given said injury above, but I can see why someone would hate them.

Ratcheting wheel on mine. Smooth mouse wheels are the enemy, I agree.

The thumb buttons were actually a single bar, and it didn't matter how carefully I pressed one end of it, more often than not it would activate the other one, or both.

Separate buttons on mine. Agree, what you describe is a horrible design.

To make matters worse, it was an ambidexterous device, so there was an identical bar on the right side of the mouse. Disabling it via sofware never worked, so I couldn't even hold the mouse properly during use without activating it all the time (and many lols were had when I unwittingly dropped my grenades in my own team's spawn point).

As I said, the ouroborous has that feature, and it's one of the main reasons I bought the mouse. Because the mouse can be expanded to have a large profile I am able to palm it without even coming close to hitting the buttons opposite my thumb.

Indeed, their application simply didn't work, it just ignored any custom settings.

I really hate razor's software. It works perfectly for me, but they are constantly pushing updates, which I never ever need, but there is no way to disable update notifications. Those toast up at the most annoying times, guaranteed.

The rubber parts got really sticky after just a month of use too. I don't know how much their quality has improved, but back then, it was just some really, really overpriced crap.

Ugh, I bet that's related to that gunk issue you mentioned at the beginning of your post. No wonder you swore off of razor's mice, I would have, too. The only "rubber part" on my mouse is the wheel, which has never gotten sticky (I've had the mouse for a couple years now). The rest of the mouse is pleasantly-textured plastic.

It was definitely overpriced. It cost a lot for a mouse, even a fancy glowing mouse with asperations of being a Transformer. But it has held up for a long time now and never let me down in any way, so I consider it money questionably, but well, spent.

Nothing is worse than the low flight mod and u going super slow then your screen spasms its hilarious and annoying when your actually trying to do something but yes sensitvity could be done better.

I have Corsair Scimitar Gaming Mouse even though I can adjust the DPI it still would be nice to fix for people who have mice that dont have that funcationality gotta be diverse!
