Where/how to buy a freighter?
Hi, question may seem stupid and maybe I missed a tutorial but... Where/how do I buy a freighter?

I think you have to land on a freighter and talk to the captain about buying his ship. I could be wrong, but I thought that I read that somewhere.

scan the space freighter icon will apear if any then dock same way as u do space station. u'll need to get up to the bridge and talk with capt he has yellow freight icon above head.

Freighters that can be bought have an yellow icon above them in space. Board them. then make your way to the bridge and talk to the captain. You will then have the option to buy the freighter.

find freighter thats being atacked by pirates kill said pirates the captain will then invite you aboard and offer you his ship...for a price....or as above talking to the captain without the invitation should do it
