Yeah but I couldnt get mine to go through a black hole, then read it cant be done. Do you know anything about it?

You cannot navigate them in a local manner, so no you can't go through a black hole with one. I'm actually glad of that I cannot IMAGINE how damaged it would be afterwards. I'd hate to have to repair it. But yes they can warp, just as your smaller ship can.

For a Black hole, use a barebones ship with all the tech in tech slots so it doesn't break when going through. Then call your freighter and swap ships. Once you get decent freighter and install all the upgrades, it makes warping to the center a little quicker.

Are you saying I can go through a black hole and then call my freighter to where I am?

Yep, summon your Freighter when you get to the other side.

I use any ship to go through a BH and call the freighter to my new location. Then I use the freighter to get an extra 1.900 light years nearer the centre.

Hi. What is a barebone ship?

It's what he said "all the tech in the tech slots". Any tech in the cargo slots will be broken when you exit the black hole and will need to be repaired.

I think they should draft some warp graphics specifically for freighters... I was not impressed at all the first time I warped. It should feel unique.

Put it in new features, that is what that one is for.

Does this all still work after the NEXT update? I'm currently sitting in my current system with a black hole after doing all the Atlas stuff leading up to it, but I don't want to risk losing my freighter/fleet.

I have a 'beater ship' that I use for black holes.
Park your GOOD ship in your freighter.
Fly out in POS ship, go through hole, it gets trashed, but I don't care, i keep it around to get trashed that way. Once through black hole, summon freighter/fleet, land, get in your good ship, leave the trash one parked till you next want to go through a black hole.
