How to enter a cuboid

so I'm trying to put a door or a hall but nothing seems to connect to those large cuboids but another one of them :( any help?

I strugled with the cuboid block myself. But eventually, after being given the actual cuboid room block, I learned that the cuboid room solid that you can buy from the blueprints guy is not enterable at all. The one you can enter is given to you after finnishing the overseer's line of quests.

Yeah. Still no idea what the block does. Maybe to fill in gaps when you place stairs.

omg yeah I found out I was trying to enter the solid cube lol yeah I'll keep playing until I can get the cuboid room :x

I use those as structural pillars under my bio-domes when I build them above ground and have a link bridge away from the main building. I think that's pretty much what it's for.

use the cubes for building giant triangles or solid ramps up to stuff.

I forget if the cube is identical in size to the cuboid room, but it does only take 10 iron instead of 100 so its economical for building stuff.

It kinda gets confusing at the start, that you can buy round corner for cuboid room from the start, but whole cube for cuboid room you get at the end of base quest.

I thought at first that cuboid cube is the room part, while it actually is just a placeholder for a construction or something, you can't really make a room from it.
