Whats yourt preferred race and why?

I like the Vy'Keen, beccause they are brutaly honest. They have an appreciation for the strong warriors(I play as a space pirate, so combat is my strong point)

The Gek come off as tricksters and I have litle trust of their kind. They act like they'd flip on you if it would give them some sort of reward. (I spend more time pirating their ships than any other race's)

The Korvax unnerve me as they seem connected to the sentinels some way and lets face it, the sentinels are jerks. They also act so superior to everyone, prententious jerks.


Anyone else wish we could shoot the npcs too? is there a mod for that yet? Hahaha

Truth is all the races are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, imo we are better of being a stranger among them.

My favorite race is the Fifth Race. =P

None of them are particularly likable, I try to maintain good diplomacy with them because it benefits my lifestyle more than making them enemies. If a huge war broke out and I had to pick a side, I would pick Korvax. Korvax are the most closely aligned with my interests, namely exploration. If industry gets added to the game I might have to change that to Gek.

Vy'keen are wholly unlikable. Someone needs to kick them in the face.

I kind of like the Korvax. The story of the scientist makes me feel a little sad.

I just can't trust the gek, there's lots of alluding to them being genocidal before they started being traders, the overseer even mentions that the gek did some terrible shiz to the korvax, makes you wonder what happened. The weapons guy even mentions how awful the gek used to be.

The Korvax just bug the ♥♥♥♥ out me, hiveminds are creepy. Although they've never done anything to ruin my day yet, they're ploting, they have to be.

At least with Vy'Ken you know what to expect, but then again I'm a warrior pirate, so of course i get along with them.

the story of what the First Spawn Gek did to the Korvax is in the plaques, ruins, and monoliths. it's a story told from 3 different points of view, one from each race. And yes, the First Spawn did some pretty horrible things. They were not a kindly empire.

Although what the Korvax did WAS rather underhanded, and face it, humans wouldn't like that being done to themselves, no matter how awful another species deemed us to be.

The beak guards kinda bug me they have huge screws in them, wonder if those go through the flesh and bone underneath. *shudders*

Maybe not - they might just be there for stabilization, and just rest tight against the face.

And if the beak is horned, they might have no nerve endings there, so can't feel it either way. Imagine something that doesn't care if you punch it in the nose.

Vy'Keen, by far play as the honorable or the 3, they also give you the feel if they don't do the right thing, they would off themselves because of it; for honor. Gek are fk'ing annoying and the Korvax are way to self serving/borq like.

if it doesn't care if I ppunch it in the nose, I punch it somewhere less armored, really wish we could kill npcs so I could fully RP my pirate ways.
