Teleporter still offline

My teleporter on abse or space station are still offline!

People with same problem told in the threads, that it helped to warp to other galaxys and back, then it would be fixed. Done a couple of times, but didn't helped.

Any other ideas?

My teleporter is weird too, but I think the difficulty is in understanding how it works, because different from pathfinder. AFAIK, I understand it like this:

From space stations you can now teleport to previous visited stations and to your homebase.
What's weird is: your homebase and the system of your homebase will have the same name sometimes (must be fixed).
From your homebase if you want to teleport to the same system's station, chose the 2nd one in the list from the 'same names'. If you chose the first, you engage teleport but you don't move and your ship may get to the station without you (bug. Must be fixed). If this happens, just summon your ship and you should be fine.

What I don't know yet: what are the conditions for a system to be deleted from the list ? I must find out yet.

In your case: What happens exactly if you warp in a system, visit space station and teleport to your base? Can you do that? You should be able to.

The base teleport unlocks after a few system jumps or you finish the tutorial.

if you only tp-ed a couple(2) it wont work, you need 3 at least.....(maybe even more, i forgot)

same thing happinds to me. does not make much seanse to have your base appear as a location to teleport to if you are already in it. just to clear things of for me it shows up as the same name for me as well the same as the station name. i am prety sure its a bug.

YOU DONT TELEPORT TO OTHER GALAXIES. YOU TELEPORT TO OTHER SYSTEMS.
HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A GALAXY WITH 1 PLANET? WHAT DID YOU LEARN AT SCHOOL?

@all: thanks for help

Now i tried a lot of more warps to other systems (!) and back - doesn't help.
Build a new base on another planet in another system - doesn't help.

And the weapon quest said all the time, i should use my teleporter for coming back to base - and without teleporter i have to warp all the way. Not funny at the moment. Will take a break.

Meanwhile i will start a new game on hard to see if the same problem is there...

OP, I'm not sure I understand your problem. To unlock teleporters you need to start base building and go through the NPC quests (constructor, scientist, armorer etc.). That's it, there is nothing mysterious, nothing weird, nothing not functional. Just do it and you will unlock the teleporters :)

You can not teleport from the base until you've first teleported from at least one system.
You can not teleport from a system until you've warped four times.
You can not teleport to a base until you build said base.

Wrong, you can always teleport to base as soon as you do what I said above.

Base is build and NPC Quests mostly done... (only scientist not through).
Warped more than four times (got achievement for 5 times)

The game "thinks" teleporter works because it said often to use a teleporter to go back to base, when a quest was ready!

What do you see when you enter a 2nd space station room? Do you see a glowing circle? That's an unlocked teleporter. You should be able to use it now to return to your base.

Excuse you, I've been playing the game for more than 500 hours, including several restarts. You do not need to progress into any of the technicians' quest to activate the teleport. All you need is the second warping milestone and a base claimed.
And I didn't say teleport TO the base. I said teleport FROM the base. That part will not work until you use the one from the starport to go back towards it first.

1. claim base
2. warp at last 3 times (unlock the second warp achievement)
3. Teleport from a Station back to your Base
4. enjoy the glowing Teleporter in your Base

pmcollectorboy, I'm sure you do your best and may be right, but your 3 sentences "You cannot..." are hard to figure out and not very helpful. I just recall what I did in my new game to help OP, I may be wrong, but at least it's easily understandable. How shoudl OP check out what you say? Very difficult...
