A fix that actually worked for me was researching the "cylinder room" i think it was called. Its a round base room that you can research in the blueprint analyzer.
I just researched it and after some time and some warps it fixed itself.
But this story has god awfull lots of bugs.
-Quest markers ending up on my freighter so the quest wont activate
-Quest markers not showing up at all
-Galaxy map not showing quest markers
-Galaxy map showing im in the right system even tho when i do a scan it says that "Target is outside local/current system"
yeh...
With the personel missions, you will received a Secondary Mission in your log, seperate to the Overseer's quest. You need to select the secondary quest for a marker to show up:
Overseer can be found in Gek Systems
Scientist is found in Korvax Systems
Armourer is in Vy'keen systems
You must unlock a certain blueprint in your blueprint analyser. Just keep buying or digging up Burried Technology Modules. And spend them to unlock stuff in your analyser.
When you unlock the right one the quest will advance.
