but what I read said you do retain your freighter? I'd be interested in a reassurance on these things for the current state of the game myself.
Once you've reached the centre of the galaxy, your game starts all over again (random planet, starter ship, starter multi tool, no blueprints), in a galaxy that has a different name. That's it.
When you reach the Center of the Galaxy (and it is much harder to reach than the Atlas destination), as it is much much further away) you get transported to a different galaxy.
Oh, so they did change that? When I reached the centre (a long time ago) the things I mentioned happened, There are a lot of videos on YT where players talk about that, too.
Take your time though, enjoy your exploration, but don't fear if you do get the curiousity bug to go to the next one.
I keep slowly moving to the center and each galaxy, it's just my exploration direction. Who knows what we may find out there one day. It spurs me onward.
it never reset your ship/tool, what it did was break everything which mean't if you didnt have stuff hoarded, you were probably going to be stuck for a while.
Use the search thread option. Yous should find it. :)
