Cheapest Freighter

So, after the Path Finder update I started playing again and committed myself to buying a freighter, knowing that I would need about 12m to do so. I did most of the base quests, started grind-farming mordite to sell lube, etc., saving up all kinds of $$$ to get this freighter.

After saving up millions, I go to buy a freighter I like. What do I buy? A 17-slot freighter for *900,000.00*. Yes, that reads nine-hundred thousand, as in less than a million. I didn't even save the thing in combat to get a discount—just a straight up sale price of <1m. Are there any other reports of this happening? I've never seen anyone else report a freighter being remotely this cheap.

I've not come across a single freighter for less then 14mil. I don't currently have one.

Yes. My freigther was only 1 million. It's worth 12 million if I try to trade it.

Some people have been getting those bargains.

Yeah its a bug, and patched already apparently. Unfortunately before I could get a farm up and running in permadeath. Saw a 31 slot for only 7 million.

the bug was VERY cheap freighters not 14m ones

No, the bug was FREE freighters if you saved them from pirates and asked straight away to buy their freigther ignoring the other 2 options. That's how I got a 36 slot one trading in a 12 slot one for 0 credits.

From the patch notes:

* Fixed a bug that causes freighters to be too cheap

OP's 17 slot freighter for 900k and mine 18 slot freighter for 1.1 million seems to have been the bug

Yea I just made a topic last night. Found a 16 slot for 590k after I saved up 20m to buy one. Finding out it is a bug, I feel kinda bad like I just cheated or something but I just blame Sean Murray and my personal issues go away

LOL Me to I saved a freighter from 8 pirates and got a 25 slot for 2m

I got a 16 slot freighter for only 300,000! I stumbled on it after a pirate fight. I didn't even know freighters could be bought since I just started a couple weeks ago. I guess I'm lucky.
