Worth Buying After All This Time?

Since this game has been released, it must have had some updates. Is the game worth buying now at 66.99CAD?

No. It's a glorified Early Access game which you will be "buying into". Don't bother.

To put it simply, the main gameplay loop is repetitive and instantly grindey, there is a serious lack of content and the promotional material is at the very least, misleading.

The first two or few hours is designed to feel like there is more to the game then there actually is. There were mass refunds due to the disappointment and a lot of angry customers that felt tricked, since they went beyond the 2hr refund window.

Watch YouTube clips of it and if the gameplay appeals to you then fair enough. Otherwise, I strongly urge you to dodge this bullet.

Watch gameplay videos and buy if you think you might like it. Visually it does certain things well that you can't get in other games imo, ie. the exploration of planet surfaces and caves. Simply stunning visuals to be seen. The updates has helped the gameplay tremendously but it needs more content to be fully justified. I my opinion you should currently wait for the next update or a discount.

Don't mind this guy OP, he's constantly involved in emotional outbursts which derive from a warped sense of understanding. You're better off making up your own mind instead of listening to a die-hard fans appeal to your emotions.

Nope, the game still isn't worth $60, never was, still isn't. A mediocre update doesn't make this worth more at all. One could even argue this update takes away from the game and makes it worth less.

Now if this game was priced $20 as you can get for on PS4 now, the by all means it's worth it, but $60, no way.

Doomsayers have nothing to do with a game that's overpriced.
