Cayo Perico Elite Challenge

Hi everyone
I want to unlock the Elite Challenge award.
Clotning is at the airstrip. Truck at the north dock. Hook is near the airstrip.
What is the best approach vehicle if doing solo?

Use the velum approach since you got the clothing at airstrip, but remember to buy gun stash first (mandatory!) or you'll get caught by the first second you land into the island.

You get your weapons from the stash inside the hangar, take the clothings, fill up your bag from the caches at the airstrip, then grab a bike and take the grapple. Head to compound, don't worry about guards, they'll ignore you even if you get in their vision. Enter the compound using the grapple, grab the loot and escape from where you entered (just watch out for red cone guards).

If you have sniper rifle you can then try to kill a dinghy driver and steal their boat for a fast escape. Otherwise just head fast to main dock, kill a couple guards, grab a boat and escape.

If you do this fast and flawless you'll get elite with minimal effort and killing.

so using a truck would be a waste of time?

Generally not getting elite is harder than completing it. For faster run you could do longfin or kosatka approach. But you can legit start it at airstrip and only run on foot and still do elite.

Elite challenge is quite easy... Go in with the Kosatka and get out through the main dock. You just grab the main objective, check for paintings in the office, make your way to the main dock and grab all the loot there.

Most of the time there's more than enough to fill up your loot bag.

The truck is a comfortable but slow way to enter the compound if you have the disguise. But since you had also found the grapple, you could use a faster car and then climb up the wall in and out.
