Alright so i've got tequila twice, will i have to cancel the heist and restart to get a different primary target? Just asking cause who tf wants to do the boring ass velum flight.

if your current heist is in Hard Mode you will lose that if you cancel, also cancelling doesn't guarantee a better target so you're better off just going ahead and get it over and done with

It's completely random.
Cancelling will only cost you the $25k setup costs.

Cancelling cayo perico heist if you get tequila isn't worth it, considering all the time it takes to steal the smuggler plane, fly all way south and scoping. And like macatak said you might just get tequila again, huge waste of time.

Best way to cope with tequilla is to also check out secondary targets. Start scoping out the airfield, optionally look out for uniforms and other stuff that might help you and then also check out the main docks.

Whatver you find there should help you to compensate for the lesser value of the primary target. Tip: forget about the elite challenge at this point and just focus on getting the best loot. Good leads are cocaine, paintings and weed.

Yeah do not cancel based on the primary target in my opinion.

The RNG isn't worth the time it takes to scope out the island and it's not that big of a difference.

The reason why people would reset the casino heist scope out mission is because it took 5 minutes, and you could then you could reset it once by cancelling the heist inside the casino without having to do the mission again.

For cayo perico heist you have to steal the plane from the top of the map, then fly it to the bottom of the map, then go through the island, climb the tower, hack, then scope out.
