I'd understand if this was 7 years ago but they threw the legitimacy out the window when they added oppressor and ♥♥♥♥, why cant we just have buyable cop cars and cop outfits like bro it's been 7 years and you're clearly not doing a cop dlc so just let us own them let us have fun for once. You can get banned using other servers, just a heads up. This includes fivem.

The only emergency vehicles (i.e. with sirens and blue lights) you can buy are the RCV (riot control vehicle) and the Lifeguard SUV.

The latter can be triggered to spawn at both Lifeguard HQs at Vespucci Beach if someone drives their existing one there, then stored and insured in your garage.
The RCV requires a facility.

You can also buy the Firetruck as a Pegasus vehicle.

That was the beta concept of gta online with turf wars and cops as a playable role, it was scrapped and they just left numerous files, but like cruste showed, people have been rumoring and clickbaiting about playable cops since 2014, nothing changed for years using the excuse of those leftover files you mention.

Seems to me that idea of playing cops and medics is so obvious that Iam afraid R* is probably saving this feture for next instalent. Iam basicly sceptic about R* adding any new game changing mechanics in to the current version of GTA, more likely u can be expecting new shipyard/docs or orbital station will be added in to the game in future .D
