Cayo Perico - Lose anything if Spotted but finish..?

Just wondering if you lose anything (money, bonuses, etc) if you are spotted but continue and finish the Heist... I looked around but noone is asking/answering this specific question it seems

I did manage to finish once without getting spotted at all, but I didn't really see any difference - maybe there is none?

All I can tell (myself, at the moment) is that if you are spotted everyone gets instant scouring pads in their arse and somehow knows exactly where you are at all times and it's like playing DOOM to get out... Other than that, it is doable (once you get used to it) - but I don't want to miss anything, if you 'lose' something by being spotted.l

The proof is that detection isn’t a failing condition to fail elite as the game doesn’t mention it, and if it was then it would be highlighted by other gameplays such as TGG and what not.

You cite “sources” such as Wiki and some redditor and proceed to say I’m “entitled” when it’s correct that those sources are dubious at best as both have been proven incorrect in many circumstances - read, DarkViperAU. I.e. you made a claim devoid of any actual evidence

You do lose a bit of money after a restart, I noticed this yesterday. Not sure if it's once or what but you do lose what was shot off at least once. I lost 100k yesterday because I skipped the disruption setups and tried to go 100% stealth all the way through. I made it but not before having to restart a couple of times and I lost like 100k due to those restarts.

If you get shot before the checkpoint and die after then you start with whatever money you had after that checkpoint was activated. I.e, you do not lose money after dying and starting back at that checkpoint unlike the PAC Standard.

Thanks for all the info - so it seems that you just have to fight your way out and don't really lose anything, if spotted (it is just harder to finish, and can optionally die and start over (Hard) possibly from a checkpoint (Normal)).

If I may add, I always do the Cutting Powder into the Water Supply - just in case I have to fight my way out after being spotted lol Then at least they are no longer all Terminators with perfect aim

That has nothing to do with anything.

Elite challenge only relies on 3 things: finish the heist within 15 minutes, don't fail any hacks and fully fill your loot bags.

Being spotted or not has no effect at all.
