A Nun in Trouble Fieldwork Softlock
I was revisiting The Vatican and doing the nun in trouble field work when I went through the window and got softlocked. The door is locked, Gina isn't there, and I can't go back through the window, making it impossible to progress any further in Vatican City. I do not have any recent saves in The Vatican making it impossible to rollback. I have restarted my game and the issue still persists. Does anyone know of a fix?

Another problem I am having with this is that is impossible to leave the basement to find the rest of the ancient relics and notes, making it impossible to 100% the game.
Try travelling back to Marshall College and then back to the Vatican. I t will set you up in a different spawn location

I tried this and I am still stuck in the basement :(
I am having the exact same issue. Don't really want to have to restart with a new save file...

Me neither, I don't want to restart after right after finishing the main story.

Hey,

yesterday a softlock happened to me in Gizeh and Gina refused to spawn in the level at all. I needed to open the hatch to Voss' office and I heard her talking but she was just invisible and I couldn't open the door. After trying for an hour to fix this I nearly gave up on the game.

What fixed my issue was going into the game slots where you see your savegames and after selecting my actual slot I saw a feature called something like "Roll back Savegame". You'll see it on the lower left side of the screen. Seems like the game creates saves for the most important positions in the actual level which are not beeing altered by the regular saves. In my case it brought me back to bringing down the nazi flag in Gizeh to cause some distraction which costs me about 10 minutes of gameplay and was not a big deal but the best part was that Gina spawned again and everything was back to normal and I could continue my game. :lunar2019piginablanket:

I thought I post this here because I read about many softlocks in other levels and maybe this helps people to get back in the game if the softlock bug hits you. Sucks like hell because this is still an amazing game that's so much fun to play.

Is there any way to do this without losing my progress? I Just beat the game and don't want to restart hours of work.

I guess not. You will lose some progress but maybe not that much. As I wrote in my previous post, for me it was something around 10 minutes which was not a problem.

Thanks. I will probably just wait until it gets patched.
