Guys, it's not *your* rescue. The rescue ship *also* crashed. It was the Aurora.
Khanwolf Mar 22, 2016 @ 9:30pm
we got to say this is ingame time.

one day ingame is 20 minutes? 7300 Minutes per ingame year. 83950 Minutes for 11,5 years.

1400 hours in real life to play. ~58 Days in our World. Just leave the Pc running. Rescue is here in 2 months without returning to Desktop.

Victory achieved in freedom mode. Now we gotta check in occasionally for hardcore and survival...

That's not the actual time.
Coug pointed it out that that is the automatic kickback fro mthe Aurora and that there isn't a rescue team. Notice that the Computer seems to hiccup when it says "9999" In fact that logs for it say "9 - 9 - 9 - 9".

9 of unit 9 which is a ninth of unit 9 which is a ninth of unit 9

The really unfortunate thing about all of this math is no one even knows how long a day on 4546B is
Planets spin and move at different speeds so maybe a single 4546B day is really 20 Earth minutes (in the game world)
Meaning we have absolutely no idea how long 99999 hours really is

Also, as people said, that was a message from the Aurora, meaning the rescue team would've had to come from it

Though this could also mean that was a message broadcast TO the Aurora and it transmitted said message to us
Who knows?

Also, since the radio and such was a bit glitched after the crash, that 99999 hours might not even be accurate. It might have gotten stuck on the number nine and didn't finish what was actually after it, something like "9 billion, 807 million, 252 thousand, 269 hundred, 42 hours, 18 minutes and 26.6 seconds. In other words, you ain't getting rescued in your lifetime, son! *bleep*"

It would still be 99999 hours, its a concept made by humans, not direct part of a planet.

The Aurora is a spaceship. This means it runs on its own time schedule. Most likely its time comes from the planet it came from originally, or perhaps it uses Earth time.

Personally methinks it uses Earth time so an hour is an hour and a day is 24 hours. When one is in space for over a year all that really matters is that the day/night cycle matches your body's natural day/night cycle.
