You don't understand, you can still use 100% Metro underground with the Old Metro Station. If you use on the ground Metro, you can unify (thống nhất) which Transport rail to use. You can use Train, but it will must more expensive and unrealistic to run in the middle of City.

No, it not the best way to fix traffic jam without mods. The best way to fix Traffic jam is good layout. With a good layout, you don't even need Transportation to fix Traffic jam. Check Czardus , he has an old series that he build his city without causing traffic jam with no mods. You shouldn't blame something that because of your own fault. I used to build a city with Metro public transport, but with bad layout. Car continue to have Traffic Jam because of those pedestrian and I didn't layout anything to fix it.

I know 90 degree connections are unrealistic but then, this is a game and most people preferred that behaviour. 2. Wait, metro tracks keeps popping above ground most of the time when build near road? Then it's must be a bug. The new patch had been release not long ago so you should expect some bugs to occur.
   
3. As a game Dev, you shouln't leave 2 copy of the samething in the game. It would mess up the coding at duplicate and also add more unnecessary track. They have to unified to simplify things to improve the game core. But they delete the old rail is a bad option though, it leave the MOM to crumble for a time. But most the time we have to move on anyway.

My metro pops out of a tunnel too, when it gets connected to the underground station, don't know why. I am sometimes able to convince the game otherwise, but I've just spend an hour trying to and replacing one area's station to no avail, always the pop up tunnel.

Edit: The underground track also suddenly has a weird habit of demolishing whatever is above them; or if they go under a road, randomly claim the space is already occupied.

Can you take a pic before and after the error please? I don't have that issue so by the time I comment, it may already been fixed.

1. No, nobody see 90 Metro track is beautiful. Just look at those Cities Skyline video.
   
2. You don't have to remember it all. That why they allow us to name it you know? They allow us to name the route, name the vehicle, name the stop too. So we can remember. If you connect from one end to the other, it's insufficient way to use public transport at it will leave many Citizen at each stop. Too little or too much Citizen at a stop is a sign of failure in public transport management
   
3. Oh, I can see the related between you and me. I used to try to satisfy every need for my Citizen but I have forgot one thing. "Nothing is perfect", you can't balance the need of Citizen and the need of space. But you could satisfy one or the other but not both. You don't have to build a Metro station just because they want to use it, you just need to build it when they needed. You should Subscribe Improved Public Transport 2 . It has a % show how much your Citizen willing to use that public transport line. It would definitely help you to delete those unnecessary stop, or line, or station.
   
4. Yes, this is a game. And if you don't want to play it then don't. When they make the game more realistic and logic, if you don't like it then don't play it. Or you could make a mod by your own to allow unrealistic 90 Dergee turn. Or you could try those methods that those helper provide but you don't care about their help and lock yourself with your selfish.

Use Fine Road Tool to force the Metro rails to be tunnels instead of sunken tracks. I had the same issue the other day.

Ai nói game này là game thư giãn :v Đây là game chiến thuật mà :))) Nhiều lúc tôi xóa cả chục thành phố chỉ vì giao thông đó :'). Sau vài năm và mods, tui cuối cùng cũng thư giãn khi nhìn giao thông nó éo bị tắc nữa :') (niềm vui nho nhỏ :v)

Also, the topic of cheating becomes kind of superfluous when mods like "Unlimited Money" etc are included in the vanilla game.
b) a single player sandbox building game, so everyone can play just as they wish, as it pleases them, and as the game allows it. No one gets hurt or damnified if a player decides to do things this way or that way. This makes up a big part of the attractiveness of this game. There is no "right" or "wrong", just a "this game allows it" or it doesn't.

3. To render something nearly unusable as has been done with the metro without any notice is very bad style. I for one *always* built my metro tunnels connecting at least at a 170°-ish angle using freehand & curves, trying to keep the terrain and tunnels in a way they dont pop out/get visible from overground in some way and all my pre-SH cities are now f***ed up. So your point obviously doesn't really help solve the actual problem.

Wait, I was never intended to fix your problem since this disscusion is not about that. And your problem can't be fixed at it's a bugs in the game. Even Biffa got that bugs too.

For the umpteenth time: it is not a bug in the game, it's a road anarchy problem. If you're still experiencing it, subscribe to Fine Road Anarchy 2 and remove all other road anarchy mods you have.

I just got a traffic Jam which make overall traffic at 32%. But I'm smart enough, to think and think how to fix it. Just after 10 minute I bring the traffic back up 82%.

That is big risk. If you somehow manager a company, and stay like this? Then I guaranty that your company will go bankrupt just in a few week and dept is on your small head.

Sorry if you seeing his comment, cause our Vietnamese is very rude and I mean very very very rude. And their brain is too small just like their head, don't care to think and use the brain to talk. (I used to be like that too. But I have to evolve out of there) So he still use the uncommon language to communicate over worldwide server.

Metros were FUN and that was the problem they fixed. Now the're not. This game violates realism in enough areas "it's not realistic" is the worst argument anyone could make. Metros were FUN, and people used them almost exclusively. They were easy and gave players who aren't professional traffic engineers a way to manage the game and play on kind of an easy mode.

Now they're kinda out of the game and have a huge learning curve ahead - they circumvented this learning curve and got into the game by using metros. Now they have this learning curve in their face and for many of them, it's a huge strain and it's changed from FUN to WORK that's no longer fun, but frustrating to get the same working functional result you had. Because some doof wanted a longer train model for Metros, like anyone cares about that.

So there will be a lot of threads like this, and now you all know why.

I hope it subsides in coming weeks if they update the Metro Rails popping up above ground. If they can fix that, it would be great. I was already more entertained by Trams and Monorails and now I see Trolleys - I wonder what real in-game function differences are there.

Oh and I still use metros, I wonder if someone will make Metro Rail asset "Easy Connect Station" collection of pieces you can use to get the correct connecting angle on the link coming out of the station.

The track "popping" issues when connecting to a station was caused by Fine Road Anarchy/Tools, which has now been updated for the new metro system.

The track will still pop above ground sometimes as it follows the terrain because the track depth is no longer "forced" to stay below ground, so on un-even terrain, it's a good idea to use the "page down" key and lower the track depth to ensure it stays underground.
