Why did they keep Jontrons voice line in this game but yooka laylee removed theirs when Jontron said something controversial

Because Team17 (the guys who were publishing Y-L, iirc, and thus could impose mandates on Playtonic) is a bunch of lunatics. Did you ever hear about how they feuded with a bunch of game critics and inserted mocking references to them just for giving their games average scores, and Team17 eventually went as far as to try and sue the publication they were feuding with for slander (they didn't even go to court).

In classic terms, a liberal is someone who is more willing to go beyond the limits of their dogma, while a conservative wants to conserve the core values of their dogma. Y-L took a conservative approach since Jontron's views went against their beliefs, but a hat in time is less focused on that and so they allowed his voice-lines to remain.

nah, they just aren't snowflakes. We all mess up and say things we later regret, At least he didn't try to get nudes from underage girls, unlike some people these days (not a reference to projared, just those pecknecks in general that do that.)

He took about a 1.5 year hiatus after the fact.

I don't think he's racist, just stuck in some weird echo chamber for a while. I'm of the stance that words mean nothing and actions mean everything. It seems by judging by the things in here about Yooka Laylee, it seems that the creators of that game are trying desperatley to become the best game of all, removing what they deem wuld effect the game's ratings, such as Jontron, and mocking those who critic them because they are stuck in their world were Yooka Laylee is the best game, and shouldn't be critized.
