Even on the standard difficulty, when night falls, you're screwed 90% of the time. I know there are custom characters and perk unlocks, but are you not supposed to be able to make any progress with a randomly generated one?

I quit a year or two ago due to the brutal difficulty, it just felt like no matter what I did I failed. Over and over and over, no matter what tactics I tried or new approaches I took. Felt far too RNG dependent. Is the difficulty still something people comment on regularly?...

do i need to beat the game for 20 zp or can i just buy it from gnome if i grind? I want phoenix but i suck and can't win
