Hell nobody wants a shirt. What we do want is a game that works. Instead we get shirts probably made in China. Considering that the games unfinshed and they're selling t-shirts that tells me all I need to know about the future of this game lol

Come on, guys. Fix the game before you start all this. Give us a reason to WANT to buy some shirts. Fix the lag and the latency issues on dedicated servers. Maybe start there.

Its not taking away from the development time so why don`t you just chill Your noodles and let them work. Apparently some people would like some merchandise and are asking for it. Im not really one of them but I dont mind if the Fun Pimps are getting a bit of extra cash for current and future development of games.
Im glad they dont just say the game is finished and ship out a game that doesnt work or lack features to keep it fun. If you like those kind of games you can always play Fallout 76.

I just cannot, for the life of me understand why so many "demand" TFP finish this game. Maybe because so many are new/newer, to the game and don`t know the updates and progress this game has made since it went on. Release it? Seriously? Then what? Release it and no more updates? Orrrr, keep making changes and upgrading the game. It`s certainly not costing us a penny more for updates and improvements. IMHO, 16.4 was by far the best version. I still play that one til the game gets at end game version. just sayin.

This is more of a priority thing. You don't release merch for something that's been in Alpha for 5 years without releasing any real fixes to your game (at least not ethically) .

Even if the designers/shirt printers/sweat shop kids aren't the same people that code the game, the money that goes into designing/producing/distributing these shirts could've been spent on furthering their product, rather than releasing a new one.

Also as it's been pointed out, the shirt is the same price as the game, so people are probably assuming they'll get the tag and left sleeve only. The rest of the shirt will be released in a few years.

And for those who think this is something other than a cash grab, (say a way to get more income to be able to finance the game's development) keep in mind that there are already over 2.5 million copies of the game sold. If everyone bought it on sale at 20$, that's still 50,000,000$ in sales, which is way more than any game's development cost, even for big studios. That's 10 million PER YEAR they could spend on finishing the game, and that's at the time they updated the store page to brag about it.
