No Lead Ore?

Coult it be that Lead ore has been removed?
Since Alpha 21 came out I have found 0 lead ore, at least in the forest biome,
I havent checked snow biome because I'm missing clothing and haven't found another biome yet.

Any tips on finding more lead? I have that book that let's me find more lead in loot, but it is not enough, I was focusing in robotics but now I got the turret and can't use it because of the low ammo

Lead ore still exists. A pretty easy way to find ore veins is to look at your map. If you find a small (4? pixels) square of the colours below, then that's an ore.
White = Nitrate
Black = Coal
Reddish = Iron
Blueish = Lead
Beige = Shale
Grey = Just a boulder if it's big, large burnt tree if it's about 4 pixels, regular tree for 1 pixel.

Thanks, I found it with this. It is incredibly rare. I was about to give up finding it even with your tip and accidentally saw it.

Just in case someone reading this wasn’t aware, one greenhorn mistake is mining the surface node and then moving on. The surface node is the tip of the iceberg: it indicates where the vein is under the surface. Finding a single node and mining the vein underneath can give you an appreciation for the whole solid voxel world that’s down there, and last you for days or weeks before it’s picked clean.

Oh, I already knew that. It is just that I could not find any ore. It happened that it is too scarce in my random generated map and saw none. I found some through the map with his tip. I had driven past it in the night maybe and hadn't seen it, probably.
