Does this game have PC/Xbox One Cross-Play?

My friend has this game on XBone and I play games on PC.
I couldn't help but notice that the game filters into Cross Platform Play in the Steam store.
Is it possible for me to play with him if i purchase this or is it a "to be" feature?

No, it will never be a feature as the PC and console versions are different and developed by different companies.

The cross platform in steam refers to PC/Mac/Linux crossplay.

very few titles actually have crossplay between PC and console. The crossplay tag is mainly used on PC for Mac/Windows/Linux.

First off, no they are in fact NOT developed by different companies and before you say "this is so old, back then they were" or whatever you feel necessary responding with, they never were, the original development team sold the title. Do some research before "answering" someone's question with some ridiculous crap.

As for this response, hilarious that you would say this 6 years ago and here we are now where many, MANY, games are now crossplay. As well as saying "it never will be" as they now have it in their plans to make this crossplatform between console and pc. So

To answer your question. It is currently not crossplay between pc and xbox, but it is a feature they plan on adding in the VERY near future.

To answer your question. It is currently not crossplay between pc and xbox, but it is a feature they plan on adding in the VERY near future.

The console version of the game available when this thread was started was sold (published) by Telltale Games, and developed for console by Iron Galaxy. It branched off and diverged from the PC game, such that PC/console crossplay wasn’t feasible. All that is old history now. If you want to discuss this further, please start a new topic instead of gravedigging a very old one.
